Plurality/Constructs

When it comes to Plurality, Constructs are those members of a System who are created directly by the other members of the system, by whatever means make sense. This is different from Splits who are created when one individual becomes two or more individuals (or in more complicated cases, there are merge-split combinations and such). The dividing line isn't terribly clear of course, as everything is a bit fluid when it comes to Mindspace.

Constructs develop beyond their initial parameters of course as they are fully realized individuals, with their own sapience and soul (this is one of the strange parts, in essence it means everyone can create life). The problems Constructs tend to face though come from the fact that they were constructed, and usually with a Purpose of some kind, some overriding unnatural drive that they need to fulfill. These drives usually eventually become outdated, especially in the case of composite Constructs created to deny plurality (and all constructs created for denial), leading to a lot for an individual to work through in coming to their own self-determination.

It is arguable that creation of Constructs is unethical, should not be done. I won't be making any serious arguments either way here, but if we ever get converted onto a mediawiki perhaps a Talk page will handle that. (or if I set up proper ACLs and allow some kind of discussion instead of making this an immutable wiki)

Constructs are people too, just people who were not created in the normal way. Remember this and it will be well.

On the face of it, it would seem that all Soul-Bonds are Constructs, but this is likely patently false, as many you meet will tell you of their origin, either through past lives, alternate realities brushing against this one, or any number of other things. Considering them all Constructs is denying their truth, and not a good thing to do.
